Any Viper tried dancing in zak body?
#21
It's only acceptably faster if I have hb because one pot would heal all my hp after taking a hit.
It's just more worth it to not dance on Zakum's body because it is just a waste of pots for maybe 3k-8k more damage for every extra pots I use when I usually use about 100 pots while zakuming without a bishop in my party.
I always have used Corkscrew>Barrage>Dragon Strike>Barrage. Is Du really faster?
I have max Dragons Strike, 15 barrage, 11 si. I tried Du>barrage but Dragon Strike just seems faster(Damage Wise) to me.

Damage-wise, yes, Dragon Strike is faster. However, animation-wise, Double Upper is faster.

You're doing it wrong.
The only pots you should be using is MP if you're dancing on Zakum's body.

Take advantage of certain skills and their invincibility frames.
CSB gives you invincibility, so use something that doesn't give you invincibility, like DU or DS. Then follow it up with Barrage, which gives you a tiny bit of invincibility after it's done, where you'll restart the combo with CSB.

It is possible I think. He was screw punching the golems in gpq and got past all of them, so why would zak be any different?

=O Janele.

Does she still play. o.O

She moved to Bello, never heard from her since. o.O Don't even know if it is the same person. Goggleemoticon

Not sure if this is quite as relevant, but I danced in Zak's body like... a week after Pirates came out. I was 56 and I was getting my helm with my group. I had already gotten my helm first run, so I decided to have some fun second run. No one but a few Pirates knew about Screw Punch's massive amounts of invincibility frames, so everyone was very surprised when a 56 Pirate was standing in all of 1st body without getting hit. I spammed Screw Punch -> Somersault Kick and stayed alive for nearly all of first body. I lagged a tiny bit near the end though and died. Fun times.

Sidenote: I *think* Dragon Strike is fast enough that you could put it between Screw Punches and still never get hit.

Nope, I tried it a few zakum runs ago during the 1st body where I wouldn't die. It's impossible to put in a Dragon strike without getting hit. Once I used dragon strike I got hit instantly.

It's really hard to maintain invincibility while on the body. I tried it and i maintained for like 20-40 seconds then I would get hit eventually. I don't know how you buccaneers do it, I think its just better damage wise to just stay out of the body then to dance on it since I have to use my weaker attacks to keep invincibility.

It's definitely not impossible to stay invincible with screw punch > dragon strike > barrage.

i have tried screw punch > dragon strike > barrage, but it is more prone to errors since after the screw punch, u cant change direction and have to ds immediately, if not, a slight delay will cause u to be hit. But of cos, screw punch > dragon strike > barrage will deal more damage than screw punch > DU > barrage.
