Possible to use Decent combat orders to max skills that normally are not maxed?

really? cause my decent combat orders works on chaos lock its lvl 14 now.

okay soo I can but just not on skills that are used as a pre req for later skills?

but what if you already meet the requirement like with ancient warding where the pre req is only lvl 5 ignis roar
