But i dont think you understand the benefit of botters. Lets take for example reverse weapons. they require Piece of time which comes from ToT. Ever since Von Leon came out barely anyone was at ToT which was about a year ago. and to this day barely anyone is. So its SAFE to assume that anyone that made a reverse item in the past year got at least 1 Piece of time for those shops in fm selling 200 or 300 PoT for 1mil each. this is alot of people that benefit from these illegit people. Sure their method's are wrong but im postive that 99% of the communite is GLAD for their service. Same can be said about Dream fragments(honnestly getting 200 legitly would take like 2000 hours (1 every 10 hours. and no I'm not exaggerating). Im not sure if u know but reverse weapons are like the stable weapon of a 4th job char. expecilly if non funded. Because of their decent attack with just 60%s as well as their relative cheapness to make. Many Many new mapler would have a tough time playing into high levels without them because the prices of legitly earn items are just to high (partily caused by merchants(see their negativeness)).

Botters cause inflation that hurts players. You know what's no longer profitable for a legit player? Hunting Pieces of Time. It used to be you could get 10mil each - that's 50-60mil profit per hour if you were lucky. And NX rates were much lower, so it translated into 3-4k NX. Now, you get 1mil per PoT you find and you need to find 160 of them to get the same amount of NX 6 used to get you. 3-4k per hour isn't minimum wage but it's a lot better than 100 nx per hour.

Not to mention the botters turn around and sell that 200-300mil they got from merching PoTs, introducing it straight back into the economy in the hands of people who don't care how much they pay for items, because they can just spend $10 and get another billion - bam, the equips you actually want, the ones that don't drop, can't be hunted by botters, inflate massively. That is the stuff that replaces Reverse gear, and with a price gap from 80m to 8 billion, the regular non-merching non-meso-buying players lose bigtime.

Botters destroy ingame sources of money - anything that takes a player time to obtain, a botter can obtain more quickly. You want to make real profit hunting mobs? Good luck competing on prices with the guy who runs 19 bots in every Oblivion map.
