I completely avoided MP3 and did captains/kru at 88, it was faster by far.
As for PVP gaviota is a near 1 hit kill, sharkwave is incredibly ranged, recoil shot you have to get used to it's new method of being a ground based attack which means get used to jump shooting with recoil shot. When you get used to these fundamentals PVP will go in your favour. Just know your enemies cooldowns and your cooldowns.
