If so then when did you start downloading music illegally? And how? (napster, limewire, various other ways)?

How many albums were you buying, on average, per month? (Whether from paid download services such as Itunes, or buying cds from stores)
-i was like 13, so none lol
Roughly how many different artists were featured in your collection, how many different genres?
-50 artists maybe, only a few genres
How often did you go to concerts?
-never

-a few a month
How many albums or songs are you buying/have bought, and if so why do you choose to buy them when you can simply download them for free?
-if it's something i'm going to listen to a lot i'll buy the cd for audio quality
Roughly how many different artists are featured in your collection, how many different genres?
-just over a few hundred, probably 10 or so different de facto genres
How often do you go to concerts?
-at least once a month
Would you say you listen to music more now than you did before illegal downloads?
-of course
How acceptable is piracy to you?
-i hold an efficient means of distributing culture higher than its standing with our current economic model
Why do you believe piracy is not seen as stealing by many people?
-for reasons i just stated. it's not a product, it's culture
Do you think piracy has, in anyway, changed the music industry for the better?
-yes. the music industry is changing itself around the idea of music piracy. "sure you can have the album for free but what about all this supa cool pomegranate that comes with it?" of course i'm from the indie lo-fi generation so i'm happy to see more bands move from big labels to releasing albums independently, considering how in this day and age it's a lot easier to get an independent release noticed
