Thread Question: If you found out you were going to make the same amount of income with a high school diploma as you would with an advanced degree, would you still bother to pursue an advanced degree keeping in mind the years and tuition required?

Addendum: Would be interesting to include your current level of education and the final degree of education that you would be satisfied with achieving at the moment.

Yes, because you'd have a better chance at getting a promotion and be better off if you get laid off. You'd end up making more money in your lifetime than a high school grad.

Also you get to mooch off your parents for four years.

Also you get to sleep with co-eds for four years straight
