Milk -- Which do you prefer?

@Devil's Sunrise: While you're correct with the *technical* definition of organic, this thread and the article itself were referring to organic foods, which by definition are "different" from "organic":

Organic foods are made in a way that limits or excludes the use of synthetic materials during production.

The article is even referring specifically to organic milk, which has an even more specific definition that is, again, different from the one you're using:

Organic milk is defined by the USDA as milk from cows that have been exclusively fed organic feed, have not been treated with synthetic hormones, are not given certain medications to treat sickness, and are held in pens with adequate space.

Just wanted to point that out, because otherwise you're going to confuse the issues at hand. Otherwise, I completely agree with everything you said and am glad you outlined the poor logic employed by the article's author.
