[Resolved] Known Issue: Erroneous Auto-Banning

We have become aware of an issue where players have been wrongfully auto-banned for hacking following our May 16 maintenance. We addressed it with our developers earlier today, and have applied a fix to our service.

In addition to unbanning all accounts which were affected, we will also be applying 3,000 Maple Points to each account. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience and distress this system error may have caused.

3,000 Maple Points, but with it comes a ban record on your history? (If they didn't remove it, which it sounds like they didn't from this message).

Lol, didn't get the Maple points and I was falsely banned too. Still unable to buy a name change or world transfer. F'ucking ridiculous.

There have been false autobans going on for a couple years. I've been one-day banned at least 8 times that I recall.

It's nice that Nexon finally admits that their system can make mistakes and that not all the players who claim to have been unfairly banned are lying, but I bet not much will change.
Players banned before or after this recent surge in bans will still have to wait out their bans with either no reply to their ticket or else get the usual automatic refusal to unban response.

Edit: Make that 9 times. Didn't even get the popup this time. Just lag and disconnect, then when go to relog I get the ban message. I'm beginning to think many of the disconnects I get are actually hack-warning disconnects with the popup message not working.

Why do you need a name change and server transfer after having your ban lifted?
How is it that you are unable to buy those?

Once banned, even falsely, and you loose the right to buy those items.
