Backstory:

I saw this episode, everyone on it had played the game before and had someone steal from them in the final - they were all invited back for this episode. This is the 2nd time this has happened to the guy, but his first time was for much less money.
They interviewed the woman before the game and she said she was 100% going to steal regardless before she even got to the final. Megabitch.

I saw this on reddit as well. The gameshow is designed to invoke such behaviour, so it's nothing particularly surprising when contestants start stabbing each other in the back for the hanging carrot prize money. I recall avoiding this particular show solely because it was hosted by Jasper Carrott.
