Trouble Logging In?
#1
Since about 5pm today I can't log into any account with out getting that message. Apparently everyone I've talked to say it's an IP ban. I logged on the site and I get a message saying my account has been deactivated for inactivity or too many attempts to log in. Does anyone know if this shit gets reset after a SC? Or do I have to write a ticket and hope they answer it soon?

Same problem. Fixed the problem by changing the ip.

That's a problem for me since I'm unable to do that at will.. I'd have to call my ISP and provide them with a good reason for needing a change

I had to get my account reactivated when that happened to me.
You go onto your nexon profile and ask to get an email to your respective account to reactivate it.
It isnt an IP ban.

I did that, I followed the reset link they sent to me, took me to the password reset page, I reset my password, then it made me log back in, and it just gave me the message again saying it was deactivated and to check my e-mail for verification message to change my password.

Well i have no idea then.
Either way IP bans dont do that, though.

Try using hotspot shield and see if it goes away? Just to verify if it's an IP ban.

Hotspot shield doesnt work anymore. Nexon decided to ban the ip address for hotspotshield.

Seconding Locked on this.
It's a proxy.
It doesn't have ONE IP address. That's nonsensical.

Then explain to me why I get an ip block message everytime I login to nexon.net with hot spot shield active on 4 addresses (my mums place, my dads place, my brothers place and a friends place) It doesnt work for anyone that I know.

Just confirming that Hotspot Shield appears to be blocked somehow, as a lot of people who tried it during that day when several large ISPs were blocked from all Nexon sites found out.
If you Use Hotspot Shield, then attempt to log in via gamelauncher, you get the 'Trouble loggin in..' message. If you attempt to log in via the site it stalls, then gives the message 'The connection has timed out..'
Then if you re-boot, and do not run Hotspot, and attempt to log in via the site, it tells you:
'Account activation required. Your account has been deactivated for your protection, due to account inactivity or improper attempts to access your account...' etc etc
Then you have to go to you Email, click the link, and create a new password.

Not being able to access something on the internet sounds like a good reason to me. I mean you are paying for the service, I'd at least give it a try considering most are saying this is the answer.
