MSEA and GMS level 200's
#1
Recently, I noticed a screen of a level 200 from GMS, and I noticed that they can't get any EXP at all, meaning that they're stuck with 0 EXP at 0.0%. However, in MSEA, level 200's can get to 99.99%, at 1 EXP below the amount needed to get to 201, though that is impossible atm. Why is this so? Anyone?

It may be that nexon wants to keep the rankings in the order of people who got to level 200. In maplesea, even if you weren't the first to reach level 200, 99.99%, you could probably be the top ranker if everyone above you died. This would probably deter top rankers from risky things like fighting pink bean when it comes out, and it might cause people to intentially try to kill them by summoning or some other way, unless they buy safety charms.

Are you sure that wasn't a screeny of a lvl 200 freshly logged in? I have no idea how the rankings reflects on the exp (as in, does it update to say you have exp when you're at lvl 200?) you earn at lvl 200, but the way I've heard it works in JMS is that you can earn exp normally, but you cannot level, and after logging off, your exp resets back to 0. Basically those people who are 1 exp away from lvling have never shut down their MS.

B/c 2^31=[2,147,xxx,xxx]-1

it has to stop at -1 because 2^31 would exceed how much it can go up to...so yeah...goes for max mesos too.

there isn't a point and like previously stated if some1 dies the rankings are fucked up then and the person who might have really gotten 200 first is no longer at the top

Nope. U can get to level 200 1st in MSEA and leave ur char without training it. Even if the 2nd guy has like 1 billion EXP and u have none, u're still on top.

Nope. Not in the case for MSEA.

Lol, have you checked how many people on MSEA at lvl 200 are 1 exp away from 201? That's a lot of people who have never shut ms off since they got to lvl 200.
