A discovery even greater than coelacanths

This is possibly one of the most amazing biological discoveries of our time. Biologists have discovered the oldest species of eel in existence in a 60-70 million year old cave on the ocean floor in the Pacific island nation of Palau. The species is confirmed to be 200 million years old, meaning it has lived undisturbed on the planet since before dinosaurs even existed. They even video tapped it.

Pretty amazing

While a 200 million year old eel is pretty cool, I don't really think it's a candidate for one of the most amazing discoveries.
