What the hell is Nexon doing with this quest?! Did they forget about it? Or is it seriously that hard for them to come up with another half of the storyline?

It's been around for quite a few months now and it's making me a sad panda.

Either we're all doing something wrong, or Nexon is being an idiot.

The worst part is, there's additional quests for Dances with Balrog and others that *could* be completed, they're in a totally working state, except they're disabled. >_>

I more or less know what's supposed to happen at the end of the quest too. After you go around and talk to all the people (all the people you need to speak to are already listed...) you go back to Jay, and he says Bob's home is Snail Hunting Ground I (The first map after the factory on Maple Island). Obviously you can't take him back there, so you gotta find a place that looks just like it near henesys. When you take his shell there, there's a bob NPC inside, and I presume he gives you the Snail's Eyes earrings.


But all because winston's quest is messed up (and there's no text programmed for Cody and a few others) we can't go on...

No... it says it's his home, but he obviously left Maple Island some time ago :p

I've seen a few Private Servers to have Bob as an NPC in them, so I guess the quest can be activated by Nexon when they want to?

So, with the removal of Bob from DMT, Is it safe to say this quest was forgotten entirely? What the hell, Nexon.

I believe that's just because Nexon copy-pasted the maps from kMS, unless they remove the Quest itself I don't think they have fully forgotten about it.

Don't forget the most important part; Bob is missing. Period. He doesn't spawn anymore after this last patch. You people that have his shell still, you're very lucky when they fix the quest.

I'm sure they have not forgotten about the quest chain. Maybe it ends with us fighting a level 140 purple snail!

He was never in KMS.

Oh, I had heard the quest was from GMS, but I didn't know he was as well.

So they just forgot to add him back in when they changed the maps? Makes sense, in a way.

Bob would totally be able to take a balrog, he's probably off looking for more of a challenge than the simple sleepywood dungeon, probably off soloing horntail as we speak.
