I'm asking this question because I admit that I do wear jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, and rings atm), but I don't have any ear piercings at the moment. I'm planning on piercing my ears after I move out from my parents' house. I know for a lot of guys out there, seeing another guy wearing Sterling Silver bracelet on his wrist is like "Oh wow, showing off your money or something?" or "Wow, must be gay".
When I was younger, I thought it was strange. When I grew up, I realized I wanted to pierce my ears. Right now, I have about around 10 chains and necklaces (total), anything ranging from dog-collars, spikes, sterling silver, metallic, gold, etc. I only have 1 bracelet that I wear though, and it's a Sterling Silver bracelet given to me a long time ago.
If you're a guy, what do you think of other males wearing jewelry? If you're a female, do you find it attractive or perhaps un-attractive? Do you think a guy is too feminine if he wears jewelry?
Also, automatically ignoring the "If a guy wears jewelry, he must be a fag" related comments.

My philosophy : If it looks good, it's okay to wear it.
I only wear my class ring, though.

Understandable and great opinion. Only problem here is, it might look good to an individual, but not to other people. Here's an example, you see a Goth kid walking down with chains and stuff all over his pants. You can either:
a) Like it
b) Don't care
c) Not like it

Honestly, as long as it's not over-the-top ("bling", huge-ass rings/earrings, etc), it looks fine. Of course, there's the times when something normal just looks downright stupid on a person, but hey, it happens.

Pretty much how I feel about men wearing jewelry.

its not what you wear, its how you wear it.
you see a man wearing many long chains, rings on each finger, walking with a swagger, and a grin on his face like "im the hottest, slickest piece of sh'it this world's ever seen," you know he is a cool cat.

Jewelry on men except for wedding rings looks ridiculous.

I don't care...if you like it, go for it. Personally I don't because it seems unnecessary...kind of like it would be something extra I would have to take care of or worry about.

I have a silver bracelet and necklace. Nothing wrong with that, considering it was a gift from my aunt. Why would I wanna refuse her gift?

Yeah, I have a Sterling Silver bracelet given to me by one of my exes. I still wear it just because I've worn it for a couple years now, and it's basically a part of me. I have a bunch of necklaces, and I wear certain ones for certain occasions. I don't really like wearing jewelry that just shows-off too much, like massive bling-blings.

It's all good for me if there isn't too much jewelery. Facial piercings are a nono for me though :x

Oh, and I wear a hemp bracelet 24/7. My friend made it for me in Sept 2008 and I've worn it ever since.

This is the exact Sterling Silver bracelet I wear, constantly:
I've never worn Hemp bracelets, I think. I've had wristbands on and stuff, and other bracelets, but never hemps. Hmm.

i had this one necklace, lost it though. it along with a claddagh(sp) ring was given to me by my grandfather before he died. since he was more or less my only father figure growing up, it kinda... well, it sucks that ive misplaced them; though the possibility exists they were stolen and sold for drug money (long story on that last note...)
only things ill really ever wear are this cheap nickel toy ring i had gotten when i was younger, its got what looks like an angel on it with red eyes, one arm covering its mouth, the other its body, and its legs folded. has some symbolic relevance for me. then theres a combo, where its a chocker string i had an onyx stone on, which is now lost, combined with a crucifix my uncle just kinda abandoned that i 'rescued,' for lack of a better term. only reason i have it is because i dont think something like that should just be callously tossed away, ya know? so i took the crucifix, and put it onto the string, and wear that on formal occasions.
then theres my class ring i only have to have. its less a thing of jewelry than it is a symbol of things important to me.

It depends how he wears it.
Over the top sometimes and I'm just like D:
but its ok if it fits him, like gauges, or lip rings, etc. little things here and there that add to him.
90% of the time I don't mind / like it.

I object.
To be more open-minded, I don't mind/judge people who wear them, but I would never ever put any on myself, except for the wedding ring and maybe a necklace concealed behind my shirt/collar.

I'm not a fan of piercings on any part of the body except the ear (on either gender). I don't think I'd ever wear jewelery (mostly because I'm lazy and it's bothersome. Hell, I don't even wear a watch anymore), but I don't mind seeing it on guys unless they go crazy with it. I think those ear-expanders are a little creepy though.

And if I found a watch that I liked, I'd wear that too. There was one at PacSun I really liked but it's not on their website anymore. :|

if you wear a dog collar I will come rape you in the ass.
Personally, I only like some bracelets I guess and maybe an ear ring.
