Nazi Zombies
#1
[COLOR="Red"]I know Call of Duty: World at War has been out a long time, but I haven't seen anything here about the game or Nazi Zombies.

Anyone else enjoy slaughtering thousands of undead Nazis as much as I do? I spent like...8 hours playing on Der Riese yesterday (DLC map, and the best one)...Good fun. Shine

The first one was easy with 1-2 friends - unlock the room with random item, hole up in there, 1 person guarding the door (chokepoint) while the others guard inside. Rotate heavy machinegunners at the door as people need to reload.

[COLOR="Red"]That sucks...although the later rounds might get to be too much for the Wii to handle. Not a bash against the Wii, but the 360 I was playing on lagged like crazy at like 20+, your Wii might start crying. :[

The first map was alright, and it's good fun if you open all the doors and run the zombies in circles. Tongue1

Der Riese is awesome though, because you have to use teamwork to get anywhere past 17. If your team knows what it's doing, you can activate all three teleporters on the map and buy Pack-A-Punch for your weapons (Adds Stopping Power (Increased bullet damage), a bigger clip, sometimes reloads faster, and allows you to carry more rounds for the gun), then get Juggernaut, Quick Revive, Faster reloads (Forgot the actual name of the perk...it's called Speed Cola in NZ though), and Double Tap.

Plus, there are these Monkey Bombs, they work like...you throw one, and all the zombies (but not the dogs) run to it and stare at it, giving you the perfect opportunity to:

a) Spray them to death
b) Grenade them to death
c) Revive someone
d) Get perks if you've been downed
e) Blow them to shit with a Panzerschreck

Then, after about ten seconds, the monkey explodes.

Also...there's little teddy bears like the ones that come out if you kill the Mystery Box sitting around the map, and they say weird things if you shoot them. Supposedly if you do it in the right order with the right guns you can get the Type 99 from the Mystery Box, but I've never seen it happen. =/

I staffed at a summer camp this summer and this game was all that a couple of the guys played. They couldn't wait to finish the day's work so they could chill in the staff house playing Nazi Zombies. I never saw the appeal to sit and play it for hours on end. And what was even more annoying about it, was that they would talk about it all the time at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We get it, you like the game, but parading around talking about it for hours on end is just dumb, and it annoys everyone.

I LOVE Nazi Zombies. Me and my friends would blast though the game at like 10 hours at a time. I remember when Shi No Numa came out and there were hacks. We'd run around using sniper knifing and no reload and just fucking have tons of fun. After Der Riese came out, me and some friends got to round 36 legit 3 days after it came out. I waited up till like 6am for the pack to come out and me and my friend just played it until like 2 in the afternoon. This will probably the one reason I'll never sell CoD5, although I can't wait until Cod6<3.

Incidentally, I thoroughly enjoy flamethrowering zombies, because it's a guaranteed kill for a large portion of the game and has infinite ammo. Firing in bursts of half a second can hit several zombies at once as well. Other strategy I employ is the use of heavy MG headshots on waves at a time.

[COLOR="Red"]If either of you are on the 360 and will be on this weekend, you could play with Berzerk and me. I'll be on from like...Friday night to Sunday morning. Shine

Although, Mas, the flamethrower doesn't work so well in Der Riese, unless you REALLY know what you're doing with it. Otherwise it's a smokescreen noobs try to use and end up killing their team. =/

[COLOR="Red"]So I just finished my little 24 hour jaunt on Nazi Zombies, with breaks for food and bathroom breaks.

Stats:

Highest round achieved: 35
Most kills: 1303
Farthest gotten with not a single "down": 35
Most headshots: 178
Most points: 141100
Time taken for the game: Something like 2.5-3 hours...I lost track of time...

Weapons used in the 35 round war:

Me: Upgraded Ray Gun and Ppsh, plus Monkey Bombs.
Ditto for one other player, the third had an upgraded Wonderwaffe, and the fourth had an upgraded MG42 instead of a Ppsh.

Our demise: We were camping in the long tunnel in the back of the map, two people shooting out of the hole to the left, two watching the hall and the wall. Simply put we ran out of munitions. =/

Greatest thing evar: I threw a grenade from the catwalk near the back, hopped in the teleporter (someone else had activated it, I got in just in time), and got to the mainframe just in time to see my grenade kill like six zombies.

Epic 24 hours. Tongue1

Workin, and gotta pay internet bill to get net back. Some other time. Also, I R Pro with flamethrower, so I don't torch my team. I set myself up at a chokepoint and soften up waves of zombies, then retreat for the smg/mg'rs to mop em up.
