Ahaha.
It's not over yet, though. The moral line in this whole argument is just toooo thin. Sure, they knew they were hosting illegal stuff, but at the same time, should it really be a website's responsibility to monitor 24/7 that illegal content or links to illegal content doesn't slip by? If so, why don't they just sue Google. If I type in "torrents" or "movie torrents" or whatever into Google, I can find a text link to illegal, copyright material.

You wont have to find anywhere else to download your movies etc. Piratebay itself isnt down and probably wont be.

Ok, er, this is actually a few days old.
The team of 4 at TPB repealed the decision and it's going to take 2 or 3 more years to be back in court again, and in Sweden that means they get to keep their property up until it's resolved.
TPB isn't going anywhere. :>
