America IS the world.
right? I always thought that America was the first world, Europe and Asia were the second world, the rest are 3rd world, and the secret unlockable Space world.

You sir, are a disgrace. Do you not remember the 4th of July, several years ago where President Whitmore made his rousing speech that we, the people of the world, "will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on! We're going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!" And we won that day, resoundingly. Open a history book and maybe you wouldn't be making fun of this poor girl who was only trying to educate you.

This post was originally about pomegranates magically appearing next to the +1 Pineapple button, when it was removed, I grabbed something random off my Facebook wall.

Sorry, I guess the movie might not have been shown on television networks near you, but AMC has been blasting Independence Day for the past 3 or 4 days. President Whitmore is the fictional president in said film, and that quoted bit is a speech he gives. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Good god, boy. I don't know what you're doing either. With your LIFE that is. You were the top of your class, filled with ideas and a brilliant intellect like none have ever seen before. So much potential. WASTED! For what? Some girl? I thought you were better than that, but I guess I was wrong. I can see now that you're just like the rest of them. Doomed to drown in your own self-pity and mediocrity. |
