Why does the world love the dead so much?

Seems like most TV shows and movies are about either zombies or vampires.


I am just surpirsed they haven't combined the two yet.

Either all those shows are on cable or you're only pulling a few and calling them most.
Vampire Diaries is one and a few other shows from the CW network are the only zombie/vampire theme shows that I know of.
