Try to make sprites atleast 150x150 or more. Sprites that small will have to get blown up to be detailed enough on the screen :/

size shouldn't be a problem, i actually had to shrink these since they were for a pokemon game. this is also why i asked you for a clean sprite from the game, to know what format to save them as, and how detailed and such they can be, the slimes for example look extremely detailed for their small size.
