When Nexon eventually dies out I bet this will be something they regret.

Not too many companies survive very long.

Nexon is one of the biggest publishers in South Korea.

They're not going anywhere anytime soon.

Seriously. Know how much they make off of Miracle Cubes here? Imagine how much more they make off of them in the even more populated korean version.

Here's where our money goes to.

I don't get how people think that Nexon, a multi billion dollar company, is suddenly going to go bankrupt because of some customer service issues on GMS. They have lots more games/branches than GMS you know, they didn't become a multi billionaire company just because of Miracle Cubes. This company is going to be around for a long, long time, whether you like it or not. Might not be respected by the gamers but safe to say they're respected by their peers.

I wonder if Zinga will buy part of Nexon eventually.

Huh?

The companies that die early are the small and new ones. Nexon doesn't really rely on a single game, especially now when they are buying out the whole industry. On top of that, Nexon Korea has a way better service than Nexon NA, or at least that's how it is for kMS.

And how long until they're noticed and bought by someone even bigger?

I'de be willing to bet NEXON is the number one MMO maker in terms of money. Why would Nintendo, or Sony want to buy them out?

I have no doubt that you'd lose that bet.

That because you and Promithian assumed I meant soon, I had no time frame, period. Nexon won't be around forever.

That's like saying "the world's not going to be around forever". Are you merely pointing that fact out? Because it's not really worth anything unless you want to make a point out of it.

In the time frame that actually matters and applies to us, Nexon isn't going anywhere.

I know that but I was just saying when that time comes this would be a regret rather than something that helped them.

Isn't NCsoft the developer of some good well known games? The only one I can recall right now is Lineage, which they are developing a 3rd part for.

If anything, this might be a win-win for both, the resources from Nexon can be used to boost development of some proyects and both make profit out of it.

TERA uses most of the engine for L3, so that probably will not be going very well, seeing how terrible it works in TERA. Unless they optimize it. A LOT.
