E3 2012 discussion with Wii U information.
Razmos Wrote:To elaborate slightly: This Dante just seems like a rebellious youth, rather than an asskicking god of demon hacking.

He's not that far off from original Dante who was also some punk, not some Kratos-like character as you seem to describe him. If anything the fan art and stuff for Dante makes him seem a lot cooler than he actually is in the games themselves.

I mean, yes, obviously this Dante is younger, but the character is still solid in my honest opinion. It matches very well with what he does, and I can see how someone with his personality would be more likely to find himself in sticky situations to fight out of.

It occurs to me that this is probably a good reason why Not to send Sarah to E3, ever.

The only thing from E3 that I saw that really excited me was Watch Dogs. It just blew me away when I saw the demo during the Ubisoft conference.

The Wii U doesn't interest me at all, and although SmartGlass did look a bit cool, I won't be getting a 360 just about ever.

Aside from Hawken and the few handheld games that should of gotten some limelight, and SE's Luminous Studio engine, E3 sucked big balls/lips this year. I'll just wait til Gamescom and TGS.

I'm sure this is all well known to some of you but for those who don't know, I'm going to post this here

Amongst many other things mentioned in this, it turns out the Wii U will support an achievement system but will NOT be forcing developers to use it. Not a really big deal but it's nice to know that it will be there. Hopefully it'll be accessible and developers will use it to appease those who really enjoy such things.

It will also have a new system for friending people.
