E3 2012 discussion with Wii U information.

This is assuming that they have no plans to integrate the 3DS into the U platform beyond what they briefly mentioned might happen last E3 with SSBU. In such case the wii U would satisfy both crowds, justifying the weird presentation schedule.

I think they mentioned (can't find source at the moment though) that there will be some 3DS games during this, but it's only 13 minutes away, speculation isn't worth it anymore

Twitter, they said "some" not all 3DS games will be shown, the rest in tomorrow conference.

Quick show of hands. How many people in this thread still regret buying a 3DS?

I don't either. I never really expect to have an assload of games until at least a couple of years after a console's release. I don't buy games very much, so what I have, I enjoy to my very limit and I've done the same with the twenty-something games I have on my 3DS (even though most are virtual console ports).

I wouldn't doubt they'd show SOME 3DS during this conference, but the main focus SHOULD be Wii U.

Conferences should be for bigger announcements, and anything smaller can be left for the shows/booths afterwards where they can get more individual attention and not waste time during the bigger announcements (Wonderbook, thanks).

Still, Batman and Mario are probably going to be the first games I'd get for Wii U, supposing I get the console around launch.
