That's what I was thinking it might be (since it makes little sense for GMS to release the pirate hero before KMS)
Regardless I'll be away all summer

Summer is almost here, and we have so much in store for new and long-time MapleStory fans. Early May brings our Seventh Anniversary celebration. Well be providing details soon, but we can say that this is one anniversary party you wont want to miss. Later in the same month will be a special treat for players who are long-time fans. Well have more information on this soon.

As we move into June, well be ramping up towards our big summer content release. Not just one but two new characters will soon be joining the MapleStory cast. While you may have heard about the Phantom hero if you follow the news of Korean MapleStory, were also preparing a brand new hero that will be exclusive to Global MapleStory. Ill be bringing you more news on our big summer updates in the near future.

We're already half way through April, and I'm guessing we'll get Justice Pt.1 in mid-late June, I'm assuming their 'big content release' is whatever the exclusive content is (or Phantom + Aswan + whatever else they're throwing at us).

Hopefully the anniversary events aren't complete crap.

Hmm.... what could they be planning for May? Must be either GMS-exclusive stuff or stuff that's unreleased, because I looked back through the extractions, and there was absolutely NOTHING between AotU Part 2 and Justice. So, what evil little thing could GMS possibly be plotting? Also, A NEW CHARACTER CLASS? THAT'S GMS-EXCLUSIVE? Oh, goodness. That baby must be more broken than Phantom or Demon Slayer or not-Evan combined. It must be..... Eric!!!

Ouch, way to not mention the Thief/Pirate update at all.

And I MUST be imagining things, this didn't just say "we're preparing a brand new hero that will be exclusive to Global MapleStory"....

They can BARELY add in KMS's updates w/o screwin' up, No way they seriously think they can make their own class...

@Below: There's still always a massive difference in quality in things added to KMS to things added to GMS.

That's why you they will make it in Korea then send it to GMS people here to just pretty much copy and paste. Where they can say it's for GMS only doesn't mean it was MADE by the GMS team.

I wanan know more about this "Long term" maple surprise? It must be something that was delayed for a VERY long time? Or a good event from a very long time ago? Fishing maybe?

Well considering KMS got Phantom in DECEMBER, it only makes sense to get Phantom in GMS on June / July...

We're actually catching up on kMS in months, however if Nexon America decides it's time for a 2 month long 7th Anniversary patch, things will fall behind again.

I don't complain about classes, I complain about easily detectable bugs Nexon America puts into class patches which could have easily have been prevented if Nexon America played Maplestory before releasing the patch (Mech: Siege, DemonSlayer: Metamorphosis, etc). Get your facts straight next time m8...
