thought this was interesting to see nexon as a company and not just nexon as the incompetent Maplestory provider.

in particular, the range of the salaries of the employees, which looks below avg industry standards.
but yet Nexon chairman Kim Jung-ju is ranked as one of the wealthiest(+1 trillion won /869m $) in S. Korea.

In recent few years, NEXON starts getting somewhat greedy. It seems to have forgotten what really matters in games is to serve its gamers at its best. Rather than putting much of its energy into making games more fun and interesting, it's concentrating on squeezing most money out of young gamers' pockets. Due to the change of its focus, it failed to produce successful games for the past two years in contrast to its early days. In recent few years, it's publishing games made from external game studios rather than making its own.

I'm talking about the reviews, which have the most information on there. It's actual employees talking about their actual experiences at Nexon.

That is the comments section and it's nothing but a bunch of people claiming to have been employees but completely unvetted in any way shape or form saying whatever they feel like saying. It's meaningless, anecdotal and should be taken with a grain of salt at best.

Huh, judging by the public relations dude, he is making ~$40,000 per year. The department is either terribly overpaid for its incompetence or terribly underpaid in its admittedly brave attempts to cover up the company's failures.
