Empress Summoning Instructors

Oy man.
This whole entire "I'm going to keep my strategies" a secret pisses me off. You guys are the reason why no one can kill Empress. With no collaboration of teams you'll never get anywhere except by trying consistently to find the "right one" when all you people could have done is just asked another befriended server.

I think it's a bit too soon to go at them like that. I mean you've pretty much told us that our Empress is "supposedly" glitched beyond glitched. Now if the "I'm not releasing my POST-KILL strategies" pops up, then I can see this posing a problem IMO.

Well, besides it being glitched. I meant earlier before it was glitched.
How many of you guys knew that Empress can only heal 10 times? You guys couldn't collaborate together and attempt to kill through those 10 heals? Find a way to stop it from healing? Why can't any of you guys just suck it up and help each other. Is this some sort of server pride on who killed it first? The question is, does it even matter anymore? With hackers rampant and, at least in my server, hacking Empress to get drops do you think it's worth keeping everything a secret if a hacker can get to it first if they "try" harder?

Ok, on the subject of the whole ELITIST thing. I started this thread in hopes of finding organizers from other worlds and comparing notes. I am not going to release a guide on HOW TO KILL EMPRESS cause the fact is WE STILL DO FAIL and run into issues. Most in Khaini who know me know they can approach me and I will talk strategy with them on boss runs and I have many times in past. Hell I even go out of my way to encourage lower levels to start organizing boss runs and helping them on their runs. I am not the richest or strongest so that is why I became a run ORGANIZER.I really do not care that someone beats her before me or has a faster time than me. I just LOVE to boss, the mesos are nice but aren't why I am doing it.

It's "Empress Summoning Instructors", not "omg guys why are you hiding this? because elitism now let's talk about WoW"

Information about what strategies, skills, party setups etc work best, it makes sense to protect.

However, how to get around obvious glitches, and the circumstances where the boss works more like its supposed to should not be trade secrets.

Do you really want people to give Nexon more money by repeating work, burning wheels, researching how to get around what is nothing more than (possibly intentionally) horrible scripting?

Give everyone a shot to try, if they fail on their own merits thats one thing. It's just like what's going on with CHT right now, it has nothing to do with one group being better than the others, it's merely the limited capacity after each SC and the threat of dc hacking that keeps it "elite". If you'd even use that word to describe such a pitiful situation.

That's exactly why Nexon ISN'T going to "fix" Empress Cygnus. Intentionally or not, Nexon is making LOTS of NX off this whole "Cygnus is a peach" glitch and the less people know about it, the less people will complain about it to Nexon.

But anyways, this thread is about getting her to summon her instructors, not killing her. I'm pretty sure that we can share simple information as "at what %HP she summons the instructors" or "is it actually glitched or supposed to be random?".

for me she summons at 50% hp, but i always time out in the end.

Nexon makes more money when 140 sets are more available because people charge nx and use it to buy high end items either by converting to meso or using it straight. Then they start cubing each item. Their entire set, 6 items, will make them hundreds alone...

And this is why I made the post, thank you. I was just wanting input from other servers on how their runs have been. Honestly, we have had her pull all 5 instructors out without doing any damage to her other than rushing her. We even have a "PLAN X" which involves something along these lines. Sometimes though it seems she wont call on them no matter what. I was just wondering if it was just our group having this happen, seeing as I am not aware of any other group legitimately attempting Empress on a normal basis in Khaini, so I decided to come here for some feedback.

She does summon whenever the hell she feels like it, there really isn't a way to do it.

This isn't really a tip to make it better, but have your tank try to get her to summon. There's no point in having everyone attack and risk dying when one class who can take hits just pokes her until she summons out. Hence in many jms/kms videos after an instructor dies, everyone except 1~2 people move to the left.

Seriously though, watch those videos. They help a lot.

problem is, we can't have the tank alone go there and deal 1 bil damage to lower her hp, she seems to be more prone to summoning when she's lower on hp, although sometimes she simply summons, or gets locked spamming a single technique (i had 13 pigs casted in a row back to back lol) not to mention, the tank can get unlucky and killed. (then again, so can everyone else tho.)
