possible evil box glitch?

i dont recommend going past about 30 boxes a day
they dont expire, 30/day gets better stuff, they stack to 100/slot, and you have all the time in the world to open them because they dont expire. i challenge someone else to post a desirable item proc after the 1st 30 or 40 in a day.

Good idea.
However, given that these do have a (relatively) sophisticated script behind them, I wouldn't put it past Nexon's sadism to make them give out only Red and Blue Potions once the event ends... Or even do something completely different like summon monsters or even (per Fiel's quote above) erase your system32. They are Evil Spirit boxes, after all.

It might be better to simply switch to hunting on a different char once you've gotten your 5 premiums for the day. The usefulness of untradeable scrolls on alternate chars is limited (especially since Nexon seems intent on making all the good gear in the game untradeable or at best PSoKable), but they still are a form of "a bird in the hand".

Got a premium item on box 24: Pet for MATT.
Two boxes before that I got an AEE.

I have found it in C-1 as well. In fact, pretty sure I've found it in all Magatia maps at one time or another. Similarly the Sunset Road maps. Found it in adjacent maps any number of times.
While I agree it doesn't always spawn in all relevant maps (I have gone to such maps after maintenance, and I know I was first there because the regular mobs hadn't spawned yet, and couldn't find Eregos), I don't think the "skip a map" rule is necessarily what guides the pattern. If there even is one.

Honestly, after opening around 50+ boxes in a day i was still getting Chaos Scrolls, Acc ATT scrolls, Special Pot Scrolls and AEE, all rather late on, the first couple i had that day were Accessory Dex scrolls and a 2-handed weapon ATT scroll. Towards the end i was getting a lot of potions, but i feel thats mostly because i was getting so many boxes and was bound to get some eventually, not some weird coding thing.

So i dont really see what you guys are seeing.

Though i suppose it is possible considering that the boxes are already coded to some degree to give us items which are useful to us (Apply the same thing to Gachapon Nexon.)

It seems like my 2nd theory is correct then, you get 5 premium items a day, or the amount close to it,4-6. Don't expect more than that much a day

So, do these boxes expire?
Otherwise, I'm just going to get hundreds and open a few every day for the next month or so.

I got 2 AEE's yesterday along with 1 trait item, and the rest were just pots. That was all within less than 20 boxes.

no, they only spawn on the red dot maps, meaning no mini dungeons or hidden streets, even if those areas can charge your gauge. Oh well I'm going to look on the bright side. I will never need to buy a dex scroll for accessories ever again

Absolutely HAD to stop it was getting so ridiculous. If this isn't further proof then wow.

It just turned midnight in California. (PST). I just opened 30 boxes right at 12:01 am.
Result:
1 AEE, one or two chaos 60% (I forgot if it was 1 or 2, sorry--edit nvm, one was a special pot scroll, other was chaos), three matk 15%'s (these are considered "goodies", btw). They were spread out, within the first 30 boxes. I stopped there. Everything else was pots and trait boosting stuff, mage equips, and accessory int 60% (a "good" scroll, but considered a "junk" reward, for some reason). Before midnight, I opened about 20 or so boxes since I collected a boatload....ALL pots and equips. This pretty much confirms it...5 goddies a day. Yeah i Got a "6th" supposedly, on the 29th box (matk 15%). Though 15% scrolls are definitely not very valuable unless you vega them...

And the "reset" does NOT start at 10 am!!! it starts at MIDNIGHT. The BOSS spawning starts at 10 am, but the reward reset chances start at midnight.

Having bad luck lately. Took me 25 boxes to get my 5 premiums for the day.

That's not bad luck. People seem to average 5 premiums in 20-30 boxes.

Used to take me 10-15 boxes, tops. Guess I was lucky, the first few days.
(Or Nexon lowered the probability of premiums, fortunately without changing the daily limit of 5)

eh, today took me 11 boxes to get 5 goodies... im stopping there since boxes dont expire and im flooded with 60% accessory stat scrolls anyways.

i suggest everyone else do the same... get your 5 goodies / day and be patient. no rush.

I would stop once I get 5 good items, but I love the heck out of +100 to a trait for free and no work.
