Monster Park

Like it.

I like the whole potential-ed equip drop, change of scenery, decent exp etc. Sadly, I'm an unsociable Pineapple, so I can't take full advantage of it. At least not until I level up enough to be able to solo at least the lowest level runs at a decent pace.

/wish I could enter the lvl 70/80 stages for equip hunting.

1. Costs too much (200k mesos per "run")
2. Costs too much on potions
3. Risk of dieing too high -> Monsters do too much damage for training for non-warriors
4. Monsters have too high HP -> Boring
5. Kenta PQ / Hobking PQ are better Cost / EXP / Personality stats wise
6. LHC is better for training

If you're above lvl 120. For everyone else it's a Godsend. I'm gonna buy some 2x drop (If it's still in the CS- last I checked it was) and loot mass tickets. I can literally lvl twice and a half per run as an attacker in my 50's.

Also, 200k mesos per run is absolutely nothing, and if the exp was good I'd drop that cash in a heartbeat. And that's ignoring the crazy amount of ways to get tickets without buying them.

Soloed MP on my 1st job archer. Went from 22-26. It was fun.

I think this list is just the tip of the iceberg.

7. Risk of KSing and/or LootStealing (especially when it comes to random parties)
8. Risk of lag and/or the ability to rush as various jobs (especially newer ones) give all they got at once.
9. Leader has to find replacements whenever someone leaves. Imagine every 20 minutes you have to find someone to fill.
10. Have to continuously hunt for ticket pieces (Lv120+) for extended play.

I'm not in a guild, or have any friends my level, during peak hours the shere number of people in my default channel locks my computer the pommigranite up. I find maplestory is a deplorable community to try to run pick-up-groups with.
All those things aside.
I can solo the first room and generally get an equip and some OK exp, but soloing regular mobs is better in the long run because I'm a paladin. Because of the Don't have reasons I went indifferent instead of negative.

It is an okay little place to level depending on your level.

I think it's pretty good, like most people said a fresh breeze in training/grinding because of the decent exp. My fp AM get's about 10%/run. My paladin on the other had only 1%, but ok xD

I also like how it's accessible from all towns. Makes leaffre and time temlpe abit more attractive to hang out as high level again instead of el nath.

I get 1.75% a PQ. o.o

For tonight, 1 Hob King PQ was netting me ~0.60% with only HS.
Party consisted of:
Me: Paladin (193)
Sister 1: Bowmaster (174)
Sister 2: Bishop (176)

Monster level was 180

Now, unless I am missing something entirely, this is pretty much how much I get, on average, with Kenta / Escape / Hob King.

I overestimated. I get 1.2% a PQ based on what I was counting today.

7. Make up a Deal or something. Most partys I was in were Warriors and Thieves, besides me as BMage. You can say if yo need something special or something.
8. ಠ_ಠ What? I don't get thsi point.
9. The map is FULL of players. People can also join partys now.
10. ಠ_ಠ Calm yo nuts. It's passive training.

Also, having 2k EXP in a full party per mob in the Vic Dunegon type, you can see the le EXP there.

7. Kill stealing? When everyone is focused on the same group of monsters? Loot Stealing? Please. I told the party I needed Pole Arms and Spears and I got every single one that dropped while they got everything else.
8.Lag is always a risk. I'm not even sure what you're saying about the ability to rush by some jobs.
9.That's the same for every PQ... But seeings how finding a new person rarely takes my party more than a minute I don't see it as much of a problem
10.As of right now you can get 4 a day. In 20 minutes I had 3 more tickets off of grinding. Also, you can go buy 2x drop and get a pet to auto loot... instantly hundreds of tickets right there with very little effort, unless the gay new anti-bot system fucks up the drop rate on tickets, too.

From a warrior's perspective...(in my opinion)
1. Great Trait booster off Stache's or the signature.
2. Great experience
3. Gives you something to do daily besides sit in GHQ listening people boast or whine on smegas about how much they spend on pixels.
4. Temple park because it has 3 bosses and they all drop coins.
5. I can solo or choose to do it faster in a party.
6. Trait boosting items.
7. I didn't plan on doing more then 3, but LO and Behold! an NPC that sells 3 tickets everyday!

Well, I think it's fantastic. It's quite fun to do, and the new party search thing does wonders.

Click "search" on the party window, and it either lists parties that need members, or everyone without a party in the map. It's ridiculously easy to find parties that way in a crowded map.

I love it. I've got a little over 30 tickets from hunting, and I've got like 200 something coins so I can have a 'stache on constantly until those run out.

I didn't try at 70-, but grinding in MPQ neo huroid map is by far better for level 70-120. Me and my friend (level 11x and 10x rangers) were getting 50% per 20 minutes with an hsing bishop. I didn't even get 25% per 20 minutes of monster park, plus the amount of time it takes to get a good party, plus the amount of time it takes to collect tickets... For 120+ LHC and even PQs beat that.

I still don't get why monster park is always full while PQs are always empty. I give it one week before most people realise it is total crap.

I'm glad someone else noticed!

The new party searching widget is one of the best things ever!
No more saying "J> Party".
No more clicking through herds of players to find someone near your level.

I'm pretty sure most people haven't found it though seeing as Nexon didn't formally announce it.

doing the stronghold one with a full party+hs, I got around 3.5-4% per run that lasted ~7 minutes.
Is it better than LHC? Yes.
Is it better than stronghold? Not even close.
Also, we could only do 4 pqs because nobody had any tickets...
If they made it unlimited ticket buys per day, I would love monster park.

Glitched LHC > MP > Regular LHC
Also there's still the "Hard Cap" of 10 runs per day.
