offline mode makes it so cracked version of minecraft can join. You can join as any username, even someone else's.

I wouldn't mind joining this server. :3

But yeah, p. much every other server I play on is dead, so I need one.

Edit: it is also worth noting that 1.9 will also kill all previous maps, so yeah.

It's on by default, so you only need to whitelist usernames if you had any concerns regarding that. If you turned it off, you'd have to resort to whitelisting IPs.

The only reason I wouldnt allow that is because on Erichs server... Someone logged in as me (mod) and spawned a fkton of TNT and griefed everyone.

I have a mod that fixes TNT and Creeper explosions, but... I just dont think I would want that.

I really don't want to lose this. I was making new worlds using random seeds (this was using christopher walken) and it's the weirdest god damn thing. It seems instead of water, the game spawned.... darkness? I call it the Shadowlands.

It's a mix of not having any methods of paying for it, like no PayPal, and others really can't imagine spending money on games.
