How many combinations?
#1
Numbers from 1-39, combos of 6 numbers, order doesn't matter (123456 = 123465).
So, 123456, 123457,123458.... I didn't bother to think cause I know there's a formula for it, I was thinking 39^39 or something?

This is just a simple combinations problem (Nearly equivalent to the NZ lotto draw problem actually)

n! / (k! * (n-k)!) is the formula you want, where n = 39 and k = 6

Sooo the lottery is stacked up to 6200 million CLP (around 13 million dollars) right now, and buying every possible combination is ~2300 million (4.8m dollar). So if you were to buy every combination you'd most likely profit (it's rarely won by more than 2 people).

3.2 million combinations, roughly.

you didn't mention if the numbers can repeat or not...but since it's the lottery, it doesn't repeat right?
