So, what's the worst I can expect from this? Higher unemployment rate? Inflation? Higher tax? Loss of Social Securities? Well, if everybody can live through it, I doubt I can't. Even if everybody can't live through it, I still doubt I can't.

I was talking about foreign debt, thought that was evident from the context. America owns a fair chunk of its own debt, but that's still almost half that they have little control over.

That's why if 2012 is real, I'd think Earth would be a whole lot better off without humans. Sorry for being so cynical, but I seriously think we are too immature to try to be the "head honchos" on this planet.

That is a good quote but their number is no longer negligible. In a lot of cases it is. There are plenty of jobs to go around. They're just the jobs no one wants and thinks they're above doing. If you need a paycheck to live, you do what you have to do. It may not be the best job, or even the most respectable, but it's a hell of a lot more respectable than sitting on your ass all day bitching about how it's just so tough to get a job in this market when in actuality, they're right in front of you.

Better start working on getting as many Scholarships as I can cause if I think about loans for college soon, I'm gonna be rear ended with f'uckery.

This, my stepfather just recently (past thursday) was laid off. He's diabetic and used any money he made with that job to pay for his medication, while my mother's job just barely covered the bills. :/
