Dunno. Maple weapons and stuff stop dropping on the 16th iirc, and that stupid puzzle thing that's been in my inventory for a damn month and a half expires on that date too. Not saying the 29th isn't more likely since there are events that end then too, but the first chaos patch is just skill changes and other stuff. Nothing too important where they can't just keep current events going.

They should use gmail's idea of 2 step verification.
Whenever I log into my gmail, I receive a text message on my phone for a 6 character code to input to log in. I think it's a good system for those who have a cellphone w/ texting (literally almost 80%+ of maple...)

This whole idea of protecting your personal information with MORE personal information is ludicrous.

Want to protect your email? Give us your SSN, birth date, mother's maiden name and blood type. That should keep you safe! But if not then oh well, everyone just knows everything about you now.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you don't know the password how can you get into the account to change the email?

My friend suffers from the (kind of) same issue (doesn't know email, password change was sent to it so he doesn't know that either), so i'd like to know if this will fix it.

Reminds me of the Blizz Authenticator fiasco, if you didn't have one on your account, a hacker could apply one to said account and you'd be 100% boned without customer service.

Different =/= good. Authenticators would be good. Linking our nexon accounts to our personal information is the exact opposite of what we should be doing, especially with their track record.

set up security questions or verify your account through Facebook

you dont have to use the facebook method. Some people actually trust facebook(yes shocker). Facebook has become a part of people now. They check it 24/7 and stay on it even thou they have nothing to do. Its just like maple. Boring but we are always on it

You can also setup facebook messages to go to your phone. So you would know if something is fishy with your account
