Does anyone else find all these new rings to be kind of ridiculous?

the objective of this game is not to make sense.

There will be some folks wearing two level 17 rings and two level 16 rings, that's going to be the best you can get unless nexon adds better rings or changes the current ones.

Except you can't do that. You can only wear one Evolving Ring and one Evolving Ring II at the same time.

The rings aren't ridiculous at all when you look at the time traveler medal.

The whole point being made wasn't for new players, it was for old players making new characters.

Exactly my point. Hence the reason I continued with, "The obvious intention is to provide older players motivation to make a new character since it is so easy now with all the equipment they have gathered on their origional character."

Nexon should have made perma masks, help convince everyone who didn't buy a perma face accessory from the cash shop already that they need one.

I'm just happy I'll have 2 Level 17 rings, the Explorer's Cruel ring and another slot for a godly ring when Chaos hits.

The Evolve rings alone make it rather crazy, cause they're essentially better than all rings in the game until what? 110-120+ from the JC profession, IF EVEN?

Think they're ridiculous now? Wait until the Chaos patch. Then you'll know the true meaning of ridiculous.

Except, from what I've seen, there isn't any Maker-able ring that beats these other than the dark aura whatever ones, and you can only use one of those.

So Zombie Rings, and maybe Resistance/Lilin's are the only ones that are up for replacement.
I don't see anything out of KMS replacing these glorious atrocities.

I hate every time they release temporary garbage like that.

Overall though, I like these ring events. They do what they're supposed to do: motivate people to login/not take long hiatuses.
It makes them look good when they can report high login-rates, which is why they're having that dumb login contest now.

I can't be the only one who much prefers events that involve logging in or simply participating (a la Visitor quests) over "HEY GUISE! WANNA GET ANOTHER CHARACTER TO LEVEL X?"
I've pretty much running out of classes that I enjoy as it is.
On a side note: Am I the only one praying GMS doesn't get the level up event KMS recently had?

I don't mind the event...its free and takes an hour(a minute or so if you just log on, afk and return to upgrade it) out of your time. I still don't get why people complain off these kinds of events. This event and the alien event are probably a couple of the best events that nexon released(that didnt require nx). I wasn't even able to do the 120+Vpq, so hopefully no one tries to argue that you need to hp wash which cost nx. I loved both events though, easy money and practically free equips.

It's not ridiculous, its a reward for continuing to play and a strategy to get people to come back. If you stop playing a game do you expect them to wait for you to come back so you can benefit off an event?

I just hate that Arcanians will never be able to enjoy the full effect of rings. Currently the only rings in Arcania are Resistance rings and Evolution 2 (and level 4 evolution 1)
