They actually wasted airtime to let people know that a couple of guys made fun of a little girl? Who gives a pineapple? There are far, far more important things to discuss on the news.

Sad? Of course. But this is nothing compared to all the harrassment kids go through in every day schools, that they have to live with for life. She's dying sure, but legal actions should be taken over making the U.S. feel bad for her.

Since I live in the suburbs of Detroit and have seen this on the news, sometimes it's important to NOT report on all the crime in the city. When you have an hour newscast like that channel does you need to fill the air time with something. Not to mention this goes along with all the suicides of children due to harrassment and being bullied. It should be reported to see what kind of jerks are out there and can be inconsiderant to a 7 year old dying child.

Well, news report, I was at that situation myself, for some time... BACK IN THE DAYS. Now I look back, and see those guys back then as morons, that keep being like that, only this time, they have no power over nobody, becoming either : A, normal people that regret their actions, or B, sad human displays that can't do anything else better. I've seen both cases here. So... Now you tell me. You prefer to grow up, and see that that there's life outta it, or just be the girl that won't have the chance to see the jerks on the other side change/become loosers? Yeah, don't think that because you don't appear in the news it isn't a big deal.

How can anyone be such a plantain? I know 6 year olds more mature than those pimento neighbors, and that's nice that Reddit and 4chan are doing something for this.

Not to mention she's dying, compared to those kids who at least have a chance to defend themselves. There's a clear difference between those cases and this is far from nothing in comparison in my opinion. I do agree that more should be done about it, though. :/

Stories like these are somewhat common on our lovely Detroit new stations. Hopefully we can get some help for the little girl and beat some sense into the assholes who don't understand the seriousness of an illness like Huntington's.
