Would a minor drawing pornographic images for themselves be considered illegal?

It is just a random question I thought of after reading Magus' thread about DeviantART. By law obviously, minors are not supposed to look at porn. Though, would creating your own porn still technically be illegal? If so, would it still be illegal if you could genuinely prove you consider it art, not porn?

I would agree. Simply, it is no, because they are victimizing themselves, where as a child visiting a porn site is an offense on the porn site (i think, not too sure on it) as the failed to prevent the persons under 18 from viewing.

[color="#000080"] Uh, depends. Legally, on my country, it's legal. As long as underaged kids share their own porn with other underaged kids, you know. The same way 18- teenagers can have sex, but if an 18+ guy and a 18- girl have sex is declared as sexual abuse.

What's legal and what's not is a pretty thin line. You know, own consent and stuff. Kinda hard to explain.
