To all males and females, what do you think about jewelry on men?
#21
For myself, a nice looking watch is the only thing I'm cool with. I dont wear earrings, necklaces or anything else, just two watches (yes two, lol); one on my left wrist, and one on my belt. One watch is for telling time, the other is a habit I got into and never got out of... and hey, if my watch ever gets lost, and my phone runs out of battery, and my mp3 blows up, I can put that extra watch to good use.

i only wear a wrist watch. i wanted to wear a necklace too, but I'd only consider that in certain situations. maybe a kukui nut neckalce every now and then...

Jewelry on men is just ridiculous.
Necklaces, hand braces are acceptable.
But piercings? ew.

A necklace can be hot (in porn. If you've seen a pornstar wearing a necklace you'd understand).

Bracelets not so much.

Rings can be cute.

Oh and earrings if they're of taste, gauges are yum.

if you wear a dog collar I will come rape you in the ass.

Personally, I only like some bracelets I guess and maybe an ear ring.

lol!

I don't mind jewelry on men. I used to use ear piercings and a nose piercing (but that one hurt way too much, so I did use it only for a month). Now I just use a couple wristbands, and I used to wear one of those dog tag necklaces.

I loved one necklace I had, somewhat like this:

But I lost it. Sad [/color]

Other than my friendship ring and a nylon thing bracelet my friend got for me, nothing else.

It's been years since I've worn stuff like that, but I used to be into spikes and what-not. I don't wear it anymore, but I used to wear:

Like maybe once or twice a week, outside of work or school. I also had smaller ones that I'd put on my wrists. Not really into that stuff anymore though. More into just Sterling Silver stuff, mostly.

If a guy can wear jewelry in a way that compliments his clothes, style, etc. I'm not sure I see what's wrong with that. I'm sure you aren't doing this:

I would never wear jewelry, and I think it looks stupid on most guys. I don't even like a lot on females (besides nice necklaces and earrings).

Personally it's okay, but bracelets and earrings on men shouldn't be all flashy like female jewelry. Nice and simple is okay.

lol this reminds me of all those hoop earrings girls wear. First it wasn't any bigger than a ring. Then the hoop doubled in size. Then it tripled in size. Then it got so big that i could slip it on and off my wrist effortlessly. Throughout these changes, I only got one thing on my mind: "The bigger the hoop, the bigger the hoe." This was a quote a good friend once said to me.

Man I'ma get my ass kicked for sayin that... ><; lmao

Less is more.. really. I think if there over the top with like 5 chains around there neck and a billion of those rubbery bracelet things that are all random colours.. well it looks ridiculous. I don't mind it. My bf has his ears pierced and really only wears one necklace.. It looks fine. :f6: but eh what people wear is up to them I suppose.

It depends person to person.
My last roommate in college was a huge douche and wore "Diamond" earrings and...well... looked like a douche with them in with his big sunglasses.

I personally have only ever worn maybe a ring (Class ring) and when i was a kid i wore a "Hawaiian" necklace.
Watches are okay too, especially nice ones. Not particularly the plastic ones and stuff.

When it comes to male jewelry it all depends on the male. Some guys can pull off the earrings but for the most part earrings on a guy is strange. A eyebrow piercing can look cool but nose is always ugly. As for the necklaces and bracelets etc. only in the right conditions and very subdued. A watch is a classic that i don't really consider a piece of jewelry and is perfectly fine.

Earrings/Piercings/Bracelets = no. Unless you're wearing a necklace with something that's for luck or sentimental value, no. Unless it's a wedding ring or something like a graduation ring, no. Bling? NO. Spiked/dog-like collars? NO. As much as I'd like to voice my true opinions OP already said no saying it's queerness wearing such stuff. I'll just sum it up by saying everything you propose falls under this book that would be a big turn-off to regular girls:

It may be a humor book, but quite a few of the things mentioned are painfully true, like popped collars and bicep implants.

Watches aren't jewelry.

I think a small pendant is ok, don't like rings unless they're wedding rings, bracelets I don't like on men, infact, most other jewelery I wouldn't like on men. uh, obviously watches are fine though I wouldn't call them jewelery really...
