You bothered to look at the shiny sprite sheet and adeptly comment on the Pogey designs rather than do anything else you could have been doing at that moment in your life. Go ahead and think I'm self-fulfilling for trying to tell you guys you're smart and special.

its self fulfilling in that if we think we are smart, we will act and adjust accordingly. peers will react accordingly, thus we all develop. saying that the members of SP are smart is like saying the members of congress are full of so much sh'it their blood is brown.

also, i'm single and unemployed, i just have nothing better to do with my time, and am an analyst/skeptic by nature.

Quick list of shinies that I think others shinies could take a lesson from:

Ninetales
- Sexy
Ho-oh - Interesting color scheme that actually matches with its looks
Metagross chain - Same as Ho-oh
Magnemite and Magneoton - I have to admit, if monochrome was done on a majority of other Pokemon, I probably would have put them in the shit pile, but it really works well with these two. I think they kinda messed it up with Magnezone though. Just like how Butterfree messes it up for Caterpie and Metapod. The least they could have done was actually make it pink.
Eevee - Nice color choice. Too bad they ruined most of its evos.

Just off the top of my head. Probably going to take another look at the sheet to see who else was nicely made. It's not just the color that makes a good shiny, it's picking a color scheme that looks good with each other and fits the Pokemon well. Y'know, like an alternate costume in a fighting game. Most of the time those are done pretty well.

Like Ursaring. Why the FUCK WOULD A BEAR BE GREEN? That makes no sense. Tangela makes green work, but it's too close to its original coloring. I still give it points tough, it's not bad but doesn't stand out.

Pokemon like Persian, Articuno, Suicune, the Garchomp family, etc. should just kill themselves.

Oh, and why not emphasize the fact that that Palkia looks like a penis?

Something I had just noticed: much like the example of Caterpie's evolutionary line, I find it odd how from Dratini->Dragonair, they're both pink- and yet Dragonite is this ugly darker shade of green.

What the hell's with shiny Lugia, though? I felt that this color scheme was absolutely stupid and incredibly awkward to look at, and the repeated that same mistake again with Latios.

Duskull and Dusklops = Red
Dusknoir = blueish.
