Exp Formula Returning Back To Normal?

It's not that I can't train my corsair, it's just that my corsair can't kill mobs as fast. Yesterday at skeles, I was trying to genesis the top platform with my feet and kill bottom platform on my corsair. I only got like 28m exp/hr (GENEROUS estimate) WORKING MY ASS OFF compared to 40m exp/hr by just leeching before. This is on 4x exp. .___.

I have no problems at all getting 10m/hr training with a 1hkoing Bishop at Skeles (in fact I get a lot more than that, though I haven't done enough training post-patch to give you a solid number). And doing a little more than holding a button while watching TV is hardly working your ass off.

At Skeles you're not killing the same mobs so it comes down to how fast you can kill. All mobs will split 80% for the one who killed them, 20% for the other person. Or, with HS, 110% to the person who killed them, 33% to the other person. Used to be 99% 66%. So yeah, this is kinda bad for 2 person parties with HS.

I've never split Skeles with a Bishop so I don't know how many kills each party member is getting.

What about an HS mule who is a the minimum level to leech and an attacker? What % EXP would that be?

Exp at Oblivion 4 with a partner and HS mule(! Important) ~23m/h on the top half. And about 19m/h on the bottom.

At skeles with a bishop it's about 25m/h with 100% 2 hit from attack and Bishop (I am a Hero). This is slightly more than what I got with the normal EXP formula and Turkeys.

Well this sorta screws over Priest/Bishop party training...

Nexon just screwed the majority of maple over, hard and dry! I don't see the problem wiht leech, if they're leeching of you and you're not gaining anything back I don't see the problem. You're not the one leeching and you're not the one providing the leech. Nexon just fucked pomegranate up, attackign party-wise too. UGH! Just fix it back!/ Don't touch it anymore!

Still stuck at 110% for the attacker, HS mule would get about 20%.

So it's like the HS mule isn't there at all in terms of exp gain... you can use any level Priest/Bishop as HS mule if you're soloing.

I guess it gets interesting in a 3-person party, since normally you'd have 2 attackers and an HS mule.

Old: 80% by level, 20% by kill
New: 40% by level, 60% by kill
ex - 185 + 185 + 130 HS mule (who can leech)
Old: 85.56% per kill for attackers own kills, 51.06% per kill for other's
New: 110% per kill for attackers own kills, 25.53% per kill for other's

Or... non-leeching HS mule
Old: 99% per own kill, 66% per kill for other's
New: 110% per own kill, 33% per kill for other's.

This 110% cap really is a problem for HS now... you'd be getting 129% in the first party and 132% in the second party for your own kills if not for that.

It's funny to see priests complaining (rightfully so, even) about how this negatively affects them since bishops were one of the main reasons the nerf happened. It's like when you're older sibling does something wrong at 16 and then when you get to that age your parents immediately don't trust you, either.

Yeah, it's funny in theory, but it's not funny for my DK friends to reject them now.

Is that really so difficult to even do half as much damage as an equal level attacker?

It's all dependent on the attacking partner and their DPS... and most of the time for me, while I might have half their attacking power, they can attack faster.

So... for a legit blood lukless priest that needs to party, I'm kinda screwed here. :/ I do my part and try obviously, but it's not enough sometimes.

I never said leech was any better.
I'm guessing right now since i'm not extremely high level it's not exactly good for me. I'm used to partnering with bishops and training >__<
Edit: I feel like I get around 1/2 the exp I get at O4 than skele, or even less...this is probably cuz skele us holy weak and Oblivion Guardians aren't. :x

I don't find it as a big deal that priest have a hard time to make it to lvl 120 now. I mean, look at Bishops. Someone called them once the most flawless class, they are bossers and they are the fastests trainers. So I think its more of a balance that priest have a hard time to become bishops, since once they cross that line, they stay on the "top".

Do you realize how hard it is to play a corsair with only one hand? Or genesis with your feet?

I don't train with other people because it's more efficient to train two characters since I have two computers.

Wow if that's on 2x I must look into that. Unfortunately the bishop only gets 2x mil/hr which is a lot slower than my 42m exp per hr (2x) on my bishop @ skeles.

Oblivion 2 or 4 again?

I wish there was a FM entrance at time temple for training at oblivion 4. The fact that you have to keep going back and forth for 2x exp casts makes it not really worth it for me to train there outside of 2x exp events. Even if you're trading with someone also at oblivion 4, you can't really use rep mules there without bringing them up.

The main problem I have with this is that I'm being punished because a ton of people decided to leech -_-;


Instead of doing this they should have applied accuracy to PG and increased the exp lost though level difference. They really discouraged parties with this...

Bleh. I despise the change. My pirate has been thrown to the side because I hate newties and training with my bf at skeles just isn't as beneficial anymore.

It'd be nice to make it past the 13x for once, but it seems that won't happen. This party scheme benefits AM's and Bishops so much that it ruined the idea of partying with them.

Do you think I'm gonna train with someone when the exp I'm getting will be almost the same as soloing..? Yeh right >_> Partying is supposed to make it funner and faster, not the same as training solo. Bleh.
