Poison Mist Question

I was wondering which would be more beneficial to a F/P mage, lukless or regular luk, with the sole purpose of poison misting forever. Also, would an Elemental Wand/ Staff be of any use under the same circumstances?

It doesn't matter. Poison damage is based on the monster's HP, not your magic attack. A priest friend and I were planning to mist sharks while I was holding an ERT and some other HP equips because HP is more important than magic attack in this situation.

I was planning on following a hybrid build during second job to make things a bit quicker, is that a smart idea? and wouldn't being lukless help Poison Brace since the more INT you have, the more Magic Accuracy you have too?

Probably luckless. Also, I've seen screenshots of experimental luck mages that have more luck than INT, and they were almost consistently hitting 1/1 on a Jr. Necki with magic claw. I dunno if it was proved correct or not.

For FPs, it depends on whether or not you're bracing.

I will probably end up bracing. I don't care, just whatever gets me the best experience, without leeching.

You won't be misting forever. After 120+ you'll be using meteor, forever. hahas.
I don't think Ele wand/staff is any use till 120+. Technically when you're 120+ that's when you actually have to deal damage to a monster instead of having mist deal it for you.

FPs used to be better off with low luk, because misting speed will depend not only on mist but other attacks. Explosion, your most important finisher skill casts much faster with a fast weapon, which you can only get by wearing an Evil Wings.

However, now they have this poison mushroom item, which is a fast weapon designed for lukless users. I forgot the level requirement, but if you're lukless, you definitely should buy it or your speed will be hampered significantly.

Explosion is very useful, especially at Skeles and Peak of the Big Nest. When I was still misting, I used at least one explosion per two poison mists, because it's extremely slow to take out the misted skeles one-by-one using Magic Claw. In addition, Explosion has vertical range that Magic Claw doesn't have, which makes it even more useful.

Anyone who has misted properly can tell you that Explosion is the second most-used skill during misting.
