Will I ever be able to 1 hit oblivion monsters?
#1
Will any mage ever be able to? If so, what monsters? What kind of equipment would be required?

 My Magic with MW
 My Equips

Z helm is currently 15 all stat.

I'm suddenly wondering how much 'real' money you spent on all of that . . .

The amount it took to hammer them so what? Like less than 40 bucks? That's not what this thread is about...

Only an I/L can even attempt this. It requires a f'uckton of magic.

You can begin 1hkoing at O1 with about 1400 magic, but you need ~1570 to 100%.

~1590 magic to start 1hkoing at O4, ~1780 to 100%.

Essentially, you will be only able to start 1hkoing at O1 as you approach level 200.

Say I got to lvl 200 with my current equips.... would I be able to have that much magic? I don't know how these things work.

Thanks

Assuming you add everything to INT, you'll get 5.5 magic per level, which leaves you at 1459 magic at level 200. You'll see some 1hkos at O1, maybe O2.

Edit: wait no, base INT is capped at 999 so...1445 magic.

So, hypothetically, what equipment would be required to 1hko at lvl 200 as a 999 int low luk mage?

(I just think this is interesting, I don't plan on upgrading anything except my shield and my z helm.)

You should at least upgrade your belt. White belts are embarrassing when you could easily get a blue or red...

INT shoes (should be able to do at least 10 with lucky makering) and goggles, but beyond that, not much you can add. Dusk, were you including the bonus from ele staff with those calculations?

MW30 adds another 5%, so 49 more magic as you approach lv 200.

What I'm really getting at with all of this is really just wondering if a lvl 200 mage can 1 hit any oblivion monsters. If so with what equips? I don't plan on ever reaching 200 or doing much upgrading. I just want to know in general out of curiosity.

Assuming maxed ultimate (blizz), maxed Amp (140%), and elemental wand/staff you will require the following mattack:

MobHPoccassionalalways
Oblivion Monk115k13801530
Chief Oblivion Guardian141k15701715
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

I added like 10-20 to my numbers to account for defense.

Paralyze would need SE and still around the same MATK just to ohko.

Bishops can't, hands down. They don't get the damage boosts we do from Amp or E-wands, and 100 base "power" more on their ultimate doesn't make up that difference.

However, F/Ps *technically* could "ohko," though they would have to Fire Demon first. Which, of course, is not ohkoing xD.

I'd definitely say it's possible Sekushi, but you would probably need a ~45x MATK score, be level 200, and have constant Banana Graham Pies. Even then you might also need MW30.
