I figured you guys would need one of these, since the Dawn Warriors already have one, so I created this.

I present...
the same exact argument again! Seriously. The moderators stickied BOTH the "Ask a Dawn Warrior" thread. and the "Ask a Warrior" thread. That means they approve of that, so why not just post these?

not every class needs this, is up to those that play them to make/brake this. unless you play a fire chunky or a bow splasher i dont see why bother making them.
they werent there for a reason, players dont see the need for them.

I notice 2/5 threads on the front page are about Blaze Wizards. Not sure about you, but I think that warrants enough :f6:.
*Waits for a mod to wander in*

whatever, i am just saying, people are free to use it or ignore it. i personally dont see the need for a thread for a subclass since fiel decided that there was no need for a forum section for cygnus since they belong to the original 5.
its all up to the users though, i personally dont pretend to go answering i the archer one since there is a thread for those questions, and here becuz i dont know jackhammer about fire chunkys. edit: and people will make threads with their questions simply because they think they are special and their questions oh so awesome instead of using the stickys despite how many of these you make.
I'm hoping that this thread will encourage more people to post here. And yeah, people will post their own threads, but this will decline it...I hope...
And meh, I agree with ya about the no need for a forum section, but I still stand with my first argument on the thread. I'm refraining from posting any more unless someone/some mod clarifies :f6:.

I only see a need for a DW version, only because they're the only class where DW are completely different in every way from their originals. FWs, not so much.

Until then, I am waiting for someone to post a question here. I have a flame wiz. I can help

I have a question! My bw is only level 58 right now and I have pilar, tele, booster, and medi maxed and I'm working on reset at the moment. I planned on maxing slow after it, but some of my friends said arrow was better. Do you use slow when training later, such as when curtaining? Or is it just to be helpful at certain situations, like pap?

It saves a ton of pots when you're training with Fire Strike (until you're killing them fast enough so that you don't need to telecast back and Slow isn't worth it.) Slow is also useful in general for moving around maps without getting hit much. You can cast it in midair so it doesn't slow you down, and it makes it much easier to tele through mobs.

I'd like to add to it, that even 1 Fire Strike is better then one arrow. IMO, it'd be redundant to have fire arrow if you plan on having any fire strike. Slow is handy when gearing at Skeles, as well.

I just did a few calculations, and found out that 1 Fire Strike out-DPS's 20 Fire Pillar. Can someone double check me?
a few calculations

According to what Isaac's said (myself having not played one), Wind people are substantially different too. Completely irrelevant post (mine) but oh well.

Can someone double check me? true it outdamages pillar but pillar cast in both directions and to the best of my knowledge strike is in one direction so both have their advantages... but you have to think about it logically, is anyone gonna bypass pillar cause it gets replaced in 3rd job? no... is anyone gonna use pillar once they have lvl 1 strike and gears? probably for those special instances but otherwise probably not... plus strike is a 3rd job skill vs pillar is 2nd so yeah should be stronger

And might as well skip Claw while we're at it since Fire Strike out damages all of them! No one said anything about skipping Pillar.

Are there any awesome sniping spots with Gear? It has some pretty incredible upwards range.

Takebacker Wrote:So? You can hit them with Strike from the slope. I definitely need to try training here. Holy- I can hit Skeles like 15% of the time at level 73, it's crazy. Dunno if I can hit CGs yet, though. *waits until level 80* |
