Fire Strike?

Is it worth it to take fire strike over fire curtain if i have access to an elemental wand 2? I read in a separate thread that you should take fire strike over fire curtain if you have an elemental wand but they didn't specify and i was wondering if the 10% bonus makes fire strike better than curtain.

with a ele wand 2 i'd go gears/curtain first

the 10% increase in fire dmg isn't gonna beat out gears' awesomness though it will close the gap

then again i'll prob go strike first solely cause i'm lukless and it'd be way to espensive in pots to be worth the fast exp

I doubt it. Since when did 25% more damage make or break a build?

Even if you have 600 magic by the time you max FS and Amp, you'll only do 5~7k on neutral, barely breaking a 10k max on fire weak. Judge for yourself if you should or not; imo I'd go with FC because of the faster training speed regardless..

I'm level 87 with very minimal funding and level 14 blessing and I have 685 MA with medi. Someone could easily have 700+ MA when they hit 86 if they could afford an ele wand 1. My total int is 550, so add 20 to that and you have 570. Plugging it in on a damage calculator with maxed amp, strike, and an ele wand 1 your range would be 7208 ~ 9642
on a neutral, approaching 15k on a fire weak. Sounds godly as hell to me.
