Maker question for forging my staff.
#1
Hi guys, I'm going to be collecting my items now for making my Reverse Aeas Hand staff (yes, I'm spur of the moment) and I'd like to know what jewels to use on it. I'm trying to get my Advanced Sapphire and Advanced Wisdom crystal already, cause that adds 8 magic attack, but I'm not sure what jewel to use last. Or should I just use those 2 jewels. Goggleemoticon I don't really know. Any advice would be appreciated.

DC's and BC's add random stats, so if you don't want anything else, use those. You could always use a LUK crystal...although I don't see how that would help.

Topaz for HP? Amethyst for speed? http://www.southperry.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1858 Just look at Isaac's post and see which crystal you would want as the 3rd crystal.

I was working this out with my Bishop friend, and we decided DC/BC if you want to risk it, otherwise the not so glamorous options:

Topaz = 30 more HP
Opal = 5 more avoid
Amethyst = 3 speed

Everything else is pretty much useless.

I'm pretty sure Amethyst was changed to give 2, 3, or 5.

Amethyst gives 2,3,5.
Also, I'd recommend Topaz, as it's a nice little chunk of survivability.

Id go with amethyst for the extra speed, seeing as your a bishop, the extra hp wont even be noticed. however the added speed will help with training.

You realize speed involves actually moving to kill something right?

I don't see why you'd bother with speed since you can out run a max speed character with Teleport.

yup, sometimes we like to move around while training instead of simply spamming genesis all day. just sometimes Wink

You can't teleport 100% of the time, there is a delay between two usages of it, in that delay speed makes a difference.
