Maple = Blurry

I dunno what the problem is. Everything else on this computer looks sleek, smooth, and beautiful, but when I log on to Maple, it's a bit blurry to the point where it's pretty noticeable. Not just the character, as many of us have experienced, but instead the entirety of my Mapling experience is but a blur. I've already tried changing screen resolution; nothing's making the blur go away.

A screenshot wouldn't properly describe how blurry it is; you guys won't be able to see what I'm seeing. It's not like, REALLY blurry. It's just blurry, and it's annoying. Does anyone have any ideas? I'd love to have this fixed...

Do you use windows mode?

Maple runs in 800x600, so if it's fullscreen and your monitor isn't designed for that resolution, it'll look fuzzy.

Aw man, fo real? My previous monitor ran on 1280x1024, as does this monitor, and it looked fine. That can't be it...

He's right, but that's not really an issue in most cases. Maplestory automatically changes the resolution of your monitor to 800x600 when you launch it. A problem would be the aspect ratio of your monitor, I'd say.

What video card/chipset are you using, and, also, what's the screen size and resolution of your display?

1. Update your video card drivers
2. Try to disable Anti-Aliasing in your video card drivers.
3. Try to disable Transparency-Anti-Aliasing in your video card drivers.
4. Try to set your MipMapping to 0.0 in your drivers (or high quality).
5. Try to hook on an other monitor and see if the problem is also happening there.

NVIDIA GeForce 9200 with an Acer v173 monitor (Generic PnP Monitor) running at 1280x1024 (32-bit & 60Hz)

As for my graphics card drivers, I just updated them. How do I disable Anti-Aliasing and all the rest.. ?

It's in the advanced settings in the nvidia control panel. Set all things concerning Anti-Aliasing to "off".
