Hi guys, now that it's summer, I have to clean out my room. This also means cleaning my computer area. Well I was wondering how to clean it (the desk) to get all the gunk and what not off of it. I was thinking about using a vacuum, but I am worried that the static electricity will get to my computer. My desk is really dirty too. So, any advice or help would be greatly aprreciated, since I don't have a clue as to what to do to clean the area.

I usually find a vacuum cleaner to be partly okay. I've not have any static electricity problems before, though I've never touched the parts within my computer with the cleaner.
The problem with the vacuumer is that it doesn't take every single piece of dust away. You should get something which blows the dust away instead. If not, use your lungs and blow as much as possible out. I should warn you though, don't blow too fast, or you'll faint. Also, you may end up with dust in your mouth if it's much to blow out.

Well as for my desk, I use "End Dust" and a dust cloth to get rid of the dust. It does a spectacular job for me. As for the insides of my PC, I use the air dust can to blow the dust off the PC parts.
