Anybody else having this problem?

"It appears that this version of MapleStory is outdated and cannot be patched to the current version. Your game client needs to be updated to login to the game. Please visit maplestory.nexon.net and download the latest game client."

Are you pomegranateting me? Not only do I have to wait 1 week for the real patch, but now i have to spend half the pineappleing day redownloading maple?

Did anybody else get this and is there a faster way around it? Thanks.


EDIT: I didn't think the manual patch would work, since my MS was supposedly "outdated" but it worked, so nevermind.

Get a computer that isn't total crap?

Half a day for a 800 something mb file?

It's closer to 1 GB, and I don't see how having a crappy computer affects download speed.

What does his computer have to do with how long it takes to download the game client? ;x It's all about the speed of the internet connection.
And it's not 800MB, it's already around 1,1GB now as far as I know. Takes a long while if you don't have a fast connection.

Anyway, to original poster, glad you got it to work with manual patch. :p

You do know a computer has absolutely nothing to do with download speed?

The client is up to almost 1.2gb by the way and half a day was an exaggeration, but still, my internet is only 1mb and would still take quite a while.
The manual patch worked anyway so yeah...

It was happening to me but I kept trying and trying, and eventually it started patching.

Thats what happen when according to the patch server you are OK but according to the hello packet sent from the server you are outdated. its usually caused by corrupted patch files or interrupted patching.
