Windows won't start

Postiong on my phone. So my computer froze and I was just like ok whatever I'll just restart. Wellllll I did that and it won't go past the loading part. I have vista if it matters and start up repair doesn't work. Help! @_@

There should be an option to press an F# key (can't recall, i think its f2) to bring up the recovery console. If that doesn't work, we'll need a bit more details on the problem. Does anything at all appear, or is it always just a black screen? Does the computer make any weird noises/beeps? and so forth...

It's F8 and you should start pressing after boot, sometimes Windows is a peach and doesn't recognize it.

Trying that repair thing now. No weird beeps or anything, it's just like starting normall except it doesn't start loading.

It comes right to the screen before you pick the account you're logging in. It shows the little loading bars that go across the screen like it does normally but it stays at the screen, don't know what else to tell you

Oh. Tried starting windows in safe mode? and after that diagnosing whether you have soft or hardware problems

Yeah already tried safe mode didn't work, it just gets stuck.

Edit : reinstalled windows, same thing still happens. Sometimes it flashes blue screen then just stays black ;(

Edit2 : got it working, now wifi won't work ugh fml.

You might want to use this time now that its working to back up your data... blue screen in safe mode means one of your hardware pieces is gonna blow soon (just to clarify, soon can be between 10 mins and 3 years), usually hard disk.
