Leafre Vs TimeTemple?
#1
In terms of exp, is leafre faster exp than time temple for a Archmage ?

There are higher lvl monsters in time temple, but is ultimate spammable like at skeles? o_o

If not, is the Demon/Summon + (CL or Para ) faster due to higher exp?

Time Temple have bigger maps... is it efficient to have more than 2 ppl party like in vikings/squids parties back in those days? ... o_O

Appreciate, if anyone can answer those =p.

Yes, if you spam ultimates. If you actually use combos/summons, it can be more worthwhile. It's more for Warriors/Archers/Thieves/Pirates/Arans to play around in. Everyone else just gets to ult in Leafre.

Partying is the way to go, but you actually can party with just about anyone, as opposed to only priests/mages elsewhere.

another good thing is that i wont dc every 20 mins like i the damn mini dungeons.

I found that I never dc in skele dungeon if I'm there with at least 1 other person, which could just be my mule.

Otherwise I dc every 5-10minz.

Time Temple was the first real area designed after 4th job, and they did a few things to reduce common complaiints about maps like having to climb huge ladders to get from one monster to the next and how easy it is for mages to spam ultimates from one spot. Skele MD is still the best exp for mages, but Time Temple should be a step up from Leafre for everyone else. Archmages who want to train without ultimates should do better there as well.

I don't think I/Ls will benefit much, but F/P archmages could meteor in path of regret with an attacker on the bottom lane. Ultimates hit the top three lanes when cast from the lane second from the top.

What about for bishops? Would bishops go to Time Temple or just stay at Skeles, because, iirc, none of the monsters are weak to holy.

Is it indeed a step up for all non mages? My only future complaint about Time Temple is that the spawn rate at Time Temple will make the EXP rate slower than the Skele MD if not for the sheer fact Skele MD is meant to have a superior spawn rate.

Hmmmm, did mSEA's Skelegon dungeon spawn rate nerf get fixed yet when they got Time Temple? Hurt

Was the skele MD spawn rate intended? It feels really glitchy

Is it high enough that it's still the best training spot despite Time Temple being out in jMS?

As far as I believe, for ultimating Magicians specifically, the breakdown is as follows:

Bishop: No contest. Leafre Skele mini-dungeon, due to Holy-weak, fast spawn on an easily maneuvered map.

I/L ArchMage: Again, no contest. With nothing weak to Ice in the Time Temple, you're going to go from Newties to Skeles as you become stronger.

F/P ArchMage: Here's where it differs. As Cyanne said, you can party with another attacker on the bottom lane while you nuke the top. This is a fantastic way to train if you're an F/P that can 2hko or ohko the Guardian Captain's of Regret (99,000 HP), which for the average 14-15x F/P is not difficult. That being said, for F/Ps capable of ohkoing Skeles, I have no doubt in my mind it'll be faster for us to train in The Restoring Memory mini dungeon.

Do I wish I could train in Time Temple? Hells yes. But the maps are too large and the spawn too spread out to make it worthwhile later on.

Hope that helps!

P.S.: Time Temple is a godsend to non-Mages who can't find a party and have to solo. Training alone in the Time Temple as a weapon attack class beats any solo training elsewhere as far as I'm aware, so don't be too fazed then next time you have trouble finding a party Tongue.

The time temple just looks REALLY fun to run around in, mostly because regret monsters are weak to lightning, the highest leveled ones since Spirit Vikings. You don't even need demon for it, since they're already weak to fire and lightning.

I'm from MSEA, and I'm an I/L Arch Mage. Personally, I feel that TT is really useless for me o_o. The maps aren't really spammable at all, spawn rate isn't that good. D:
