Gaming mouse

So I recently got the Zboard. I know that everyone likes the Logitech G15 or G19, or that Saitek Cyborg or whatever, but I like the versatility and fully customizable keys of the Zboard. Besides, I'm getting the logitech G13, which has 22 programmable keys and 4 macros with the LCD, which basically defeats the purpose of the G15/G19 imho.

Anyways, I was looking to get a gaming mouse. But I have no idea what's really good without feeling it in my hands. I know I need many buttons, but how many? I don't really consider the mouse wheel a button as much as it is for scrolling, zooming, and some item selection. I'd like to have enough to use macros to constantly be switching and adjust my DPI for different weapons and situations. Also, many mouses have DPI buttons or other buttons that get in the way or end up getting pressed at the wrong time because of how they're positioned, so I don't like that either.

So I'd like to ask if anyone has any experience with gaming mouses, and what they recommend. I play fps, rpg's, rts, mmo's other than just MS, and many other games, so I'd like versatility and comfort. And it might sound strange, but I got medium sized hands, if I need a mouse that fits that hand.

I put some options up top in the poll to show what I've been looking at and thinking/preferring to get. But tell me if you know of another that's good and that I don't know of.

Not to bump it for no reason, but I was really hoping for other's opinion, so I could get it before I go on my trip overseas.

And if it's not getting responses because it's in the wrong area, please move it. I just hope it's not because no one cares to discuss it.

I'm personally a fan of Logitech. I don't think that a mouse requires much on it though. A keyboard with extra macros ought to be enough for most things. It really does depend on what you're doing though, and if there's some sort of macro you would find convenient enough to use on a mouse's extra buttons. You want something where you can adjust the sensitivity to your style, and responsiveness if you're really hardcore, more than extra buttons that you want to use.

Looking at the G9, it has profile settings that can be stored in the mouse itself, so that could help between switching games or situations. Compared to the NZXT Avatar, it also has higher specs in every department, including durability. That Razer seems to have higher specs than the G9 with a lower cost, though I don't like its design nor the placement of those two buttons behind the wheel. Personal preference though.

I've heard good things about the Razer Copperhead. That it's an excellent mouse to use and it allows pinpoint precision or wanton destruction.

And there's apparently a new mouse out called Silverstone Raven Laser. I wish there was a quality site that reviewed and tested each, instead of just giving me the ads from each company about it.
