Pherhaps Im the only one here that hopes for pandemics just cuz I want to spend some time off school and work.

Yeah, I guess I should hope that millions of people start dying so I don't have to go to work.

I dont want em dead
I want em sick.
No one died in United States.
I just want it to spread so everyone is at mass panic and I can relax.

Wow, what a selfish person you are. Wanting people to suffer for your own personal gain.

Nobody in the United States, so? Guess what, there are other countries in the world. And plenty of people in Mexico are dead because of it.

Sorry, but that comment annoys me a lot.

Part of my job at the moment is to monitor it. So no, I have not heard of it.

Either you are effective at trolling, or a sorry excuse for a human being.

Shit, that makes sense. Let's have a disease with a mortality rate of ~7% spread and hope that no one dies so that I don't have to go to fucking school!

84 cases and 150+ deaths. 200% mortality rate ftw?

There have been at least 2400 cases reported wordlwide. Please do research before taking random numbers you hear on the news to make a sadistically sarcastic statement.

I did do my research, AS OF THE UPDATE THERE ARE ONLY 98 CONFIRMED CASES OF THE VIRUS! the 2xxx cases are only SUSPECTED.

And the deaths are "uncofirmed" so it could be another disease until further notice.
Also the death rate to confirmed numbers seems pretty low IMO 7 confirmed swine deaths to 84 confirmed infections .

I think we are exaggerating. Until they do more tests, Im convinced that only 98 people in the world are infected with the strain >.>

I lol'd pretty hard. Jews and Muslims seem to think 'swine flu' is too offensive to their religious beliefs, and it should instead be named 'Mexican flu'. People are ridiculous.

Whoa whoa whoa, hold the phone man. I would have agreed, but THAT WAS THE BEST PLAN EVER. I think you must have found that image with the wrong text on it!

Kinda like wishing the swine flu would spread so that we can miss school/work! AWESOME.

Yea it may be 8% but chances are you are part of the 92%.

Plus United States of A has a 0% Death rate so its all good. =). The weak US Virus should be the one that spreads quickly. Not the one that fails a bit like a 10% scroll.

Normal influenza has a global mortality rate of 0.1%. Normal influenza kills approximately half a million people worldwide, yearly. 30 000 of these occur in the United States. We have a vaccine for influenza. We have treatments for influenza. People still seem to die because of influenza. We don't have a vaccine for swine influenza. We don't have a treatment for swine influenza. I wonder what could possibly go wrong.

What can go wrong you say? Everything could go wrong.

CNN Wrote:23-month-old Texas child confirmed as first U.S. swine flu death, according to Richard Besser, acting director, CDC.

US Swine flu mortality rate 1.5%.

=(

Edit:

The swine flu infested a new European Nation: GERMANY!

GO GO GO SWINE FLU.
