I actually go to class from 8am-5pm and then work from 6pm-1am. I usually study/relax 2am-4am. Isn't it true that you could just stay up late to finish this quest in one night?

Oh come on, that guy was willing to get up at that time, why can't you?

Just do it when you're using your "sick days" or something. Or don't do it at all.

I do agree that the time constraints are incredibly silly. Unless they incorporate some type of reasoning within the script of the story, then I agree it's bothersome. But no means impossible...

It's 2am-5am for me.

Luckily I was able to finish it, though.

its not that, its just the constant requirement to change my schedule in order to match nexon. first there are events (2x,cs,gm), then there are bosses (and now also pqs), and now these quests? maplestory is a game, i should be able to play it when i feel like it. not when nexon said i need to.

I don't mean to be rude, but GMS is kinda intended for North America, so they're not going to go out of their way for people who don't live there.

Although, the time limit is apparently in KMS as well, so it's not like Nexon just decided to be evil to GMS.

Which in that case, all us americanites are screwed.

I don't usually go to sleep until around that time anyway. It's 8-11 PM for me though.

As of right now, I could be finishing the quest, seeing as it is 7:50 over here, but I find it boring and useless.

Ill do it for you. I could just go on your account and get it done like that. And im from kradia with no nx, so theres no way you could steal your stuff. Ive actually done a few JQ's and a quest or two on this one persons account O.o

I don't mean to be rude, but have you ever thought what the "G" in GMS means? its GLOBAL. GMS was meant to be for all of the world. its just nexon that decided to ip block everyone outside of america.

Well, if you really cared that much, you could set an alarm clock and wake up just to talk to the NPC then go back to sleep or something.

Isaac brought to my attention quests that are based upon local timezones and not server time; consider the quest for the 7th day market happening at midnight local time and not pacific time. Adjust your computer clock to the time the game wants and work at it from there.

I think it's wrong for Dyle/Faust quests...
I woke up at 3:30am my time to do Dyle's quest (the one where you have to find a paper between 5-8pm), and that matches 5:30pm server time by my calculations.

I actually did notice that the 7th day market thing worked based on my computer's clock. hey couldnt you just do the whole quest by changing the day and getting the powder? rofl... well anyway those quests are based on PDT/PST not the player's time.Excellent

the 7th day market quests are glitched if your time != nexon time and you start them on the wrong day (nexon's time). also, quests availability is controlled by the client while NPC positioning is controlled by the server.

EDIT: also, even if it worked, wouldnt that count as glitching\hacking?
